WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE A PROM DRESS?
Only graduating high school seniors, between the ages of 17-19 years old, can receive a dress.
WHAT TYPE OF KIND OF ITEMS CAN I DONATE?
We are specifically collecting new or gently worn formal prom dresses, shoes, and accessories. Visit our prom dress collection page for more details.
WHEN ARE DRESSES ACCEPTED?
Prom dress donations are accepted August 10th - April 20th of each year.
WHERE CAN I DONATE A PROM DRESS?
HDC currently has one drop-off location, located at the Neighborhood Women's Collective.
Address: 2494 Frederick Douglass Blvd, New York, NY 10030.
Hours of operation: Wednesday - Sunday 12 P.M. - 6 P.M. Until 7 P.M. on Saturday.
CAN I SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE PICK-UP/DROP-OFF OF DRESS DONATIONS?

WHEN IS YOUR ANNUAL GIVEAWAY EVENT?
Our event date will be posted one month before its scheduled date. Registration will also open on this date.
IS THE PROM DRESS GIVEAWAY EVENT FREE?
All prom dresses given away are free, however, to support HDC's administrative cost, there is an entry fee of $5 per girl receiving a dress. The fee at registration or through our GoFundMe page. Starting in 2020.
